 Dr Chong Yoke Sin
Chief Executive Officer 

With a PhD in Chemistry from the National University of Singapore, Dr Chong's first job was a Systems Engineer with IBM in 1983. She became the Asia Product Head for CICS in 1987, and was Advisory Systems Engineer when she left IBM in 1991. She then went on to Hitachi Data Systems, where she was the Consulting Manager up till 1995 when she left to join NCS. 

Dr Chong joined NCS in 1996 as the General Manager of Business, where she led the business and delivery functions of the group. She rose through the ranks to become the COO in 2003, and played a key role as Project Executive and Sponsor for many significant projects. She personally oversaw many of the large-scale, across-government implementations for Singapore, Hong Kong and the region, and led NCS' drive into the commercial and regional markets to grow the business. In 2005, Dr Chong became the CEO of NCS Group. 

Dr Chong also completed the Advanced Management Programme at the Harvard Business School in 1998. 

Dr Chong is active in several IT and business associations and holds important appointments, such as Board Member of the Health Sciences Authority and Chairman of Finance Committee; Board Member of the Women Leadership Board of The Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University; and Vice Chairman of the Singapore IT Federation (SiTF) and Chairman of the e-Government Chapter. 

Dr Chong was also awarded the NUS Outstanding Science Alumni Award for 2007.
