The nature of our consulting services has been strongly influenced by our tradition in education. While seeking to achieve specific results for client organisations, we are also concerned that they take ownership of the results, are able to fully utilize and integrate the results in subsequent phases of work, and preferably be able to carry out similar work in future independently.
ISS is unique in its ability to offer a blend of customised education and facilitative consulting to achieve these ends.

Depending on the nature of the project, our services may include conducting focused interviews with key client staff, facilitating workshops and discussions, conducting customised courses on a just-in-time basis, performing reviews and assessments, and providing advice and guidance to lead to a successful project outcome.

In certain instances, we provide technical leadership in design work, where we become part of the design team - leading the technical work and participating fully in creating the design deliverables. In this case, we lead by example performing a form of the on-the-job-training to the client staff. ISS may also undertake the complete development for clients when projects involve the application of technologies which are not widely applied to the specific application area in the region.
