Strategic IT Planning Consulting Projects
ISS has worked with a number of client project teams to develop the organisation's Strategic IT Plans. For 1998, this included Government Investment Corporation, Ministry of Education, Singapore Polytechnic, Management Development Institute of Singapore, Stamford Press, and Teck Wah Press. Facilitated workshops are conducted to derive and confirm the organisation's business goals, strategies and IT directions. The deliverables of these facilitated workshops and reviews include potential IT applications, IT architecture blueprint, implementation plan including IT organisation structure and financial analysis.
Impact
ISS consultants will help senior management of these organisations to focus on the organisation's goals, business strategies and critical processes to develop an IT blueprint. The project team are also taught how to develop the IT architecture and the implementation plan. A process is also put in place so that the organisation would be able to continue with the update of the IT Plan as part of their annual business planning cycle.
