NICF- PMP® For Project Managers

Course Overview

As today’s projects are becoming more challenging, cross-disciplined, cross-functional and complex, Project Managers need to be empowered with the industry's proven knowledge, best practices and skills to meet this ever increasing demand.

This 5-day course will help you master the critical knowledge and skills needed to successfully manage today’s projects and sit for the international recognised Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification examination. It will give you an in-depth understanding of PMI®’s “A Guide to the Project Management Book of Knowledge” (PMBOK® Guide), pick up study tips and question tackling strategies.

You will be provided with the official PMBOK® Guide and a bestselling PMP Exam guidebook, including a comprehensive post-course examination support covering online practice questions, mock exam simulations and six months of e-mentoring support by experienced instructors.

You will earn 35 Professional Development Units (PDUs) upon successful completion of this course. This fulfils the PMP® eligibility requirements of 35 project management training hours (contact hours). For the purpose of PDU reporting, the ISS PMI REP Provider Number is “2339”.

  • Project managers preparing for the PMP certification examination conducted by the Project Management Institute
Participants must meet all of the following pre-requisites in order to join this course :
  • possess at least a diploma from a tertiary institution or a university degree and above
  • possess at least 3 years (for degree holders) to 5 years (for diploma holders) project management experience (for definition of project management experience, please refer to PMI website for details)

  • Examination Practices

Live sessions will be supported with online practices by topic and actual examination simulations
Teaching/Learning Methods

Class exercises and experience sharing are used extensively to reinforce the participants' understanding and practice of the concepts as well as assess the competence of the participant

  • 1course fee is after funding from WDA. Funding is $525 for staff of non-SME companies, Absentee Payroll - 80% of hourly basic salary up to $4.50 per training hr

NICF Accreditation

  • This course is aligned to the National Infocomm Competency Framework (NICF) and accredited by WDA. Absentee payroll subsidy is available for eligible companies and companies on a short work week system will receive the absentee payroll subsidy based on their employees' current income.   • Upon completion of the course, eligible participants will be assessed on required Competency Units (CUs). For each CU passed, participants will be issued a Statement of Attainment
