Hello Everybody! Welcome to the ISS Alumni!

First and foremost, we would like to say a big HELLO to all ISS alumni out there. Second, let us share with you our story of how the alumni committee came about. While pursuing the Graduate Diploma in Systems Analysis at ISS in 2006, we truly enjoyed the camaraderie with all our classmates. It then suddenly dawned on us what will happen if we graduated? Will we see one another again? I dread to lose touch with our friends whom we met during the course. That was what made us decide to form an alumni committee. We are Wesley Kwon (President), Lee Teng Kok (Vice-President), Seow Wei Liang (Hononary General) and Tun Lin Soe (Treasurer).

Together we held several meetings discussing how we can keep our alumni network going and growing. On 4 April this year, we successfully organised an alumni get-together buffet at the NUSS Guild House, Suntec City to bring all alumni together. It was a wonderful night with lots of interaction and catching up with past students of SA and MTECH. ISS Director, Mr Lim Swee Cheang and lecturers were also present to show their support. Following this, we went on to organise a basic French-speaking and writing course in May. 15 alumni can now speak and write simple French! We also 'indulged' ourselves with a little alcohol in a simple wine-tasting event in July conducted by a suave Frenchman, Vincent. See all the fun we had in our photo album.

In August, we also welcome a new addition to the alumni committee family - Brenda Ong. She will oversee the promotion of alumni activities. We have already planned 2 more activities in the coming months - Ice-cream making workshop in October and Kangoo jumps in November. More details will be announced shortly. Do keep tuning in to us!
