Course Overview
Business and systems analysts have traditionally been involved in developing individual systems for organisations. However, individual systems may only be serving a part of a total-end-to-end process.

For business and systems analysts seeking more advanced knowledge and higher level skills, Business Process Management (BPM) is the next logical step beyond traditional business analysis or systems analysis.

Business Process Management involves the re-design of end-to-end business process as well as the integration of the various application systems involved, so as to achieve improvement in service levels, operational flexibility and efficiency.

Upon completion of the course, participants would be able to:
  • Understand what is BPM & analyse business processes
  • Design a business case for business process change
  • Improve / Re-engineer business processes
  • Apply process design best practices
  • Propose key technology options for business process changes
  • Plan for change management & implementation
Successful completion of this course and its certification assessment* will lead participants to the international AIIM BPM Master certification. AIIM (Association for Information and Image Management) is a mature organisation representing more than 50,000 members. The course objectives and content of the certification were defined and reviewed by AIIM Education Advisory Groups representing BPM users, consultants and vendors - eg. Accenture, Microsoft, Oracle, Fujitsu, EMC, Gartner, Standard Chartered Bank, GlaxoSmithKline, JPMorgan Chase, US Courts, US Department of Treasury, Crown Partners, Royal Mail, BearingPoint, Canon, Ricoh and others.
