Course Overview
This course is NICF accredited. Absentee payroll and up to 90% funding of the course fee are available for eligible participants from WDA under SPUR.

Object oriented software development is garnering increased support and acceptability in the IT industry. The need for developing enterprise applications with business objects reuse, have resulted in learning and employing object oriented analysis and design techniques in their development.

This course provides a systematic object oriented development approach using Rational Unified Process (RUP), Unified Modelling Language (UML) and the widely acknowledged Use Case driven approach. In addition to imparting knowledge and understanding object oriented analysis and design, the course provides a complete project development life cycle and the deliverables in each phase, based on the RUP. An industry standard UML compliant tool is used for workshop sessions, adding substantial practical hands-on content.

Course Fee

  • NICF Accreditation

    • This course is accredited under the National Infocomm Competency Framework (NICF). Upon completion of the course, eligible participants will be assessed on required Competency Units (CUs). For each CU passed, participants will be issued a Statement of Attainment.
    • Participants may need to attend additional coaching sessions and re-assessments if they do not pass the required competency units. ISS reserves the right not to disclose any information on course assessment process.
    • Under the Skills Programme for Upgrading and Resilience (SPUR), Singapore citizens and permanent residents who are eligible for up to 90% funding from WDA, pay only $321 (incl GST). Terms and conditions apply.
    • Absentee payroll subsidy is available for eligible companies. Companies on a short work week system will receive its absentee payroll paid based on their employees' current income. For more information and claims on absentee payroll, click here.
