Virginia has over 29 years of executive and management experience in entrepreneurial and hi-tech organisations located in China, Singapore and the US. She has brought entrepreneurial enterprises from start-up to high-growth stage in both corporate and venture-funded startups environments. Virginia chairs her own investment holding company in China while spearheading ISS' innovation activities. She held prior appointments such as CEO of the 8th Network Corporation (China), CEO of Star+Globe Technologies Pte Ltd (Singapore), EVP of CyberCity Holdings Ltd, and Director of Advanced technology at Unisys Corporation (US). Virginia is active in the entrepreneur community - she teaches New Venture Creation the NUS' Overseas College at Fudan University, Shanghai and is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at INSEAD. Virginia is currently pursuing her PhD in Innovation at the Division of Engineering Technology Management, NUS. Her current research interest is in decision making under uncertain conditions.
