Senior Lecturer & Consultant, IT Strategy & Management Practice

Roles and Responsibilities:

The senior lecturer / consultant assists in leading and managing the Practice programmes, applied research and consulting engagements. He/she will serve as the operational lead for the ITS&M programmes in support of the successful delivery of the Practice Group’s overall operating plans and service excellence targets. Additional key roles and responsibilities include:

  • Guide and consult on the design, development, management and delivery of the Practice practitioner-oriented programmes, applied research and consulting engagements;
  • Coordinate and direct the renewal of the Practice’s programmes in alignment with the fast changing needs of the digital economy and the future-ready skills of the professionals;
  • Review and / or recommend modifications to the curriculum in accordance to the desired professionals’ learning outcome;
  • Identify, plan, lead and coordinate execution of strategic projects designed to help Organizations and Professionals accelerate business impact;
  • Coach and motivate project contributors to execute priority programmes and proactively manage expectations for successful project/program execution and completion; and
  • Explore adoption of new teaching pedagogy and technologies for teaching excellence through on-going researches and industry engagements.


  • Degree in Infocomm or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of experience in management;
  • Significant ICT industry experience and keen to explore new areas of practice and innovative pedagogy to achieve desired learning outcomes for professionals and organisations;
  • Possess excellent organizational, communication (including writing), analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills with strong ability to develop relationships with senior leaders;
  • Demonstrated ability for complex problem solving, critical systems thinking and creativity; and
  • Proven ability to lecture at the graduate level to experienced business professionals
