Senior Lecturer & Consultant, Software Engineering & Design Practice


Eng Lieh has over eighteen years of experience in IT consulting, teaching and research. He is currently holding a teaching position with the Software Engineering and Design Practice for National University of Singapore, Institute of Systems Science (NUS-ISS). Prior to joining ISS, he held several positions in MNCs responsible for large scale applications and system integration projects with clients in multiple domains from banking, healthcare, insurance, government to transport. His unique blend of hands-on industry experiences and academic research knowledge enable him to create innovative software solutions for the businesses.

Eng Lieh is passionate about designing quality software that has an impact on business outcomes. His works in industry projects creates business impact in terms of higher productivity, revenue gains and cost reductions. His research on service profitability strives to equip service providers to make a more informed decision on cloud service architectures. He also established himself as an effective teacher in the areas of solution architectures, cloud computing, software security and mobile design. His achievements are well-recognised with numerous management excellence awards in the industry and best teaching awards in ISS.
