NICF- Design and Develop Mobile Enterprise Application with HTML5

Overview

There are approximately 1.4 billion smartphones users on the planet. Besides being just a device to make calls, smartphones are enhanced by a plethora of applications. They are also steadily replacing the desktop personal computer (PC) as the de-facto platform for accessing applications and services. In view of this development, enterprises and government organisations are pursuing a mobile strategy to enable their services and applications.

In this hands-on 4-day workshop, you will:

  • Learn about the latest trends in mobile application development
  • Have the opportunity to design and develop HTML5-based mobile applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Study real code examples and work on interesting hands-on exercises
  • Learn about best practices in user interface (UI) design, evaluate communication modes, adopt good design principles and use popular frameworks to implement the application
  • Gain valuable insights into designing mobile-friendly interfaces and building maintainable applications
This course is part of the Software Engineering & Design Series offered by NUS-ISS.
