NICF- Certification in Outsourcing Management for IT (Associate) Course

Overview

According to a recent Deloitte’s 2016 Global Outsourcing Survey, it was concluded that enterprises will continue to leverage on outsourcing to achieve the conventional outcome-based business values primarily focused on cost-cutting and the ability to achieve organisational efficiencies.

In addition, cloud-based services, robotic and cognitive process automation, the “Internet of Things,” and digital IT management are examples of innovative technology disruptions that the relevant and experienced service providers can create improvement opportunities for the enterprises. The survey indicated that more than 35% of the respondents are already measuring the value of innovation in their outsourcing relationships.

With the increasing reliance on outsourcing, there is a high demand for IT professionals with the relevant and vital skills to effectively manage these engagements to meet business needs.

The Certification in Outsourcing Management for IT (Associate) Course is a foundational class that will lead to the COMIT (Associate) Certification with the aim of supporting the growing demands for outsourcing services amongst businesses and organisations. Some of the key areas will include managing the outsourcing relationship, effective management and performance monitoring of service changes, service delivery and service quality through well-established governance structures.

This course provides a collaborative platform to develop and upgrade the various aspects of IT outsourcing skills through a combination of lectures, discussions, practical workshops and sharing by lecturers who are experienced industry practitioners.

A COMIT (Associate) certified professional attests to having the essential foundational knowledge and skills in IT outsourcing management. On a personal professional level, it renders recognition to the individual while increasing their market value.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will earn 19 PDUs (PM: 15.5, Leadership: 3.5) that can be used to maintain your PMP® credential. Note that for the purpose of PDU reporting by those with PMP® credentials, the PMI REP Provider Number of ISS is “2339”.

This is a bundled COMIT (Associate) Course and Examination package offered by NUS-ISS.
