NICF- Transformational Leadership

Overview

The pace of change in the technology landscape is progressing at an unprecedented rate. As businesses evolve to take advantage of new business opportunities or to respond to changing market conditions, the role of technology in business transformation grows ever more significant. The need for business savvy infocomm professionals to realise this potential has become even more crucial.

The Singapore Business Review has identified incoming business trends expected to impact employers’ critical skill requirements in new hires. Key amongst these is the integration of technology with business so that technology will no longer sit solely in the domain of the CIO or CTO in the future. It is expected to be the joint responsibility of other business functions such as marketing and finance. The review suggested that multilevel hybrid knowledge and competencies will be required in order to achieve success in this area.

The Transformational Leadership programme has been developed to help technology professionals improve their organisational impact and their career prospects by developing the skills needed in the modern business agenda. As well as helping those who wield technology power within their organisations to recognise and respond to evolving mega trends, the course will also enhance and strengthen participants’ skills in the co-creation of business and technology strategies including building individual leadership skills, through:

  • Business and technology landscape reviews
  • Change management
  • Technology leadership
  • Transformational communications
This course is part of the Digital Leadership Series offered by NUS-ISS.
