Critical Infocomm Technology Resource Programme Plus (CITREP+)

CITREP+ was established by the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA) to support local ICT professionals in keeping pace with technology shifts through continuous and proactive training. Through continuous up-skilling, fresh professionals and mid-career professionals may acquire or enhance technical skills sets which will enable them to remain relevant and productive in their careers.

NUS-ISS is one of the training provider partners with IMDA under CITREP+, entrusted to develop and offer quality infocomm professional development technology courses in areas aligned to build a strong core of specialised Singaporean ICT professionals with Smart Nation capabilities.Training courses and certifications which impart knowledge and skills in the identified skill areas will be evaluated and endorsed under CITREP+

Who is eligible?

  • Singaporeans and Singapore PRs (with effect from 1 August 2017)
  • For Organisation-Sponsored trainees, the sponsoring organisation must be incorporated or registered in Singapore. Employees of Local Government Agencies are not eligible. Employees of these organisations can, however, qualify for CITREP+ under the self-sponsored category. 

How much is the funding?

  • Up to 70% of the exam fees, capped at $500 (exam only) per trainee for Professionals
  • Up to 100% of the exam fees, capped at $500 (exam only) per trainee for Students and/or Full-Time National Service (NSF). For more details, please refer to CITREP+ Claim Application Guide

How to apply?

  • All course endorsement and claim applications must be submitted online via the online system known as Infocomm Competency Management System (ICMS). Upon successful submission of online applications, the applicants must submit the supporting documents to IMDA.
