Digitalising The Taxation in Sri Lanka: The Importance of Change Management
The most challenging aspect of digital transformation is not the technology, but how to get the public to be comfortable with using it. The Singapore e-Government Leadership Centre (eGL) at NUS-ISS has been working with the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) of Sri Lanka on implementing and managing change and resistance of the Revenue Administration Management Information System (RAMIS), a one-stop tax management platform launched in July 2014. NUS-ISS Innovator, Dr. Matthew Chua, Won Prestigious NMRC Research Grant for Innovative Smart Socks to Aid Parkinson Patients
Dr. Matthew Chua has won the prestigious National Medical Research Council (NMRC) Research Grant under the National Innovation Challenge, Enabling Innovation Grant, amounting to close to half a million dollars, for his multi-disciplinary research on Smart Socks for Parkinson Patients.
