Governance
NUS-ISS operates within the NUS corporate governance framework, while functioning as an integral part of the NUS.
The NUS-ISS Management Board provides strategic guidance to NUS-ISS senior management. The terms of reference are:
To advise NUS-ISS on strategic business direction
To advise NUS-ISS on appropriate organisational and personnel policies to support its mission and strategy
To approve NUS-ISS operating budget and utilisation of NUS-ISS financial reserves
To review NUS-ISS programmes and products to ensure they meet the changing needs of the industry and help NUS-ISS establish strategies to remain innovative with a leading edge
To assist in establishing links with industry and leading institutions

Employee Engagement
At NUS-ISS, it is not all work and no fun. We get together from time to time and hang out with good food, interesting activities and great company. Here are snapshots of some activities we organised (it’s just the tip of the ice berg).
Recreational Activity: National Day celebration
The Recreation Committee (RC) organised a get-together for all NUS-ISS staff to celebrate the nation’s birthday. It was an enjoyable afternoon of games (Quiz about Singapore, Photo Hunt & Foosball) pizza and drinks for everyone.
NUS-ISS Annual Team Building
Organised by our HR team, this year’s annual team building event was held at Kallang Theatre. Themed ‘The Incoming—Together We Stand Against The Incoming Challenges’, the event included activities such as archery tag, laser tag and art jamming to celebrate collaboration and team work. It was incredibly fun way to bond!
Recreational Activity: Christmas Celebration
The RC team gathered staff of NUS-ISS for an early Christmas celebration to soak into the Christmas festive mood. It was a wonderful gathering with all partaking in a festive, sumptuous feast, the exchange of gifts and Christmas carols sung by staff.
