Research from ISC2 and others continues to conclude that there is a global shortage of qualified cybersecurity professionals, including Singapore. As the digitalisation of the world marches forward and the increasing adoption of technologies, the need for cybersecurity trained professionals takes on an even more urgent need.

This course aims to support the government’s plan to digitalise our economy and way of life. To enable this there is a need equip people with the necessary cybersecurity skills, such as students, young professionals and career-changers – who are keen to embark on a career in cybersecurity. The ISC2 CC certification, is a foundational cybersecurity certification designed to help learners build a pathway to a rewarding career in cybersecurity. This entry-level certification will prove to employers that the holder of this certification has the foundational knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for an entry- or junior-level cybersecurity role.

The course with the Certified in Cybersecurity student kit which includes the following:

  • One Pearson VUE Exam Voucher (expires one year from date of issuance)
  • One complimentary second exam attempt (same expiry date as exam voucher)
  • Instructor PowerPoint slides
  • Chapter summaries including key points and glossary of terms for each chapter
  • Practice Assessments with Answer Keys

Certificate of Completion

Participants have to meet a minimum attendance rate of 75% and are required to pass the assessment to be issued a Certificate of Completion.

All classes are subject to confirmation and NUS-ISS will send an acceptance email to participants one week prior to the commencement date. Confirmed registrants are to attend and complete all lectures, class exercises, workshops and assessments (where applicable). Additionally, all responses to feedbacks and surveys conducted by NUS-ISS and its partners must be submitted. All training and assessments will be delivered as described in the course webpage.
