NUS-ISS has been at the forefront of guiding companies in their digital transformation journeys and developing digital change agents for organizations since 1981. Leveraging our expertise in digital transformation and in collaboration with Trade Associations and Professional Bodies, we establish Corporate Partnerships in Digitalisation, and offer Digital Academy Services to the public sector, thereby cultivating an ecosystem that helps organizations and government agencies navigate their digital transformation journeys.


We are committed to driving comprehensive partnerships with enterprises to support their digital transformation efforts holistically through multiple learning pathways, practice-based collaboration, talent acquisition, consulting, research and career services. We have introduced a range of blended learning programs that offer highly interactive and engaging experiences, which can be accessed from anywhere and at any time. We are also expanding our international collaboration with multinational corporations, governments and universities. With the world moving towards a digital economy, we aim to empower organizations to stay ahead of the curve by providing them with the necessary skills and tools to succeed in the digital age.

NCS

NCS is a leading technology services firm with presence in Asia Pacific and partners with governments and enterprises to advance communities through technology. Since 2019, NUS-ISS has collaborated with NCS in its talent development programme, Nucleus, which equips new hires with professional training to accelerate careers as they work on technology projects, while supporting the commitment to champion digital transformation for the future. NUS-ISS also works with NCS in various areas such as internships and project collaborations, accreditation of NCS subject matter experts as adjunct teaching staff to teach in NUS-ISS, and technical training for mid-career NCS employees.

Institute of Banking & Finance

The Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore (IBF) is the national accreditation and certification agency for financial industry competency in Singapore under the Skills Framework for Financial Services, which was developed in partnership with the industry. NUS-ISS has been awarded training places for the Technology in Finance Immersion Programme since 2019 for Software Engineering, Data Analytics and Business Analysis training. NUS-ISS works with IBF to train tech talents for traineeship opportunities in the Financial Institutions, enabling them to be upskilled in data analytics, business analysis and software development skill sets. NUS-ISS has further leveraged the IBF Skills Framework for Financial Services to contextualise NUS-ISS programmes for the financial sector’s digitalisation initiatives.

Visa

Visa's mission is to connect the world through the most innovative, reliable and secure digital payment network that enables individuals, businesses and economies to thrive. Through a collaboration with NUS-ISS on the Visa Technology Traineeship Programme, this multi-year initiative will train Singaporeans for roles as Software Test Engineers and Systems Analysts.

Singapore Airlines

To maintain a competitive edge in the digital economy, Singapore Airlines (SIA) had significantly boosted digital capabilities in its employees since 2017. SIA Chief Executive Officer and other members of the senior management team participated in a workshop titled "An Agile, Innovative & Data-driven Workforce", facilitated by NUS-ISS. The skills necessary for business success in a digital economy are very different from those required of the previous industrial revolutions. The workshop conducted by NUS-ISS aimed to equip the SIA executives with practical insights and applications to stay ahead in a rapidly changing landscape. As part of the digital transformation efforts, SIA staff were also trained in data driven decision making frameworks, innovation by design thinking and agility techniques. These skillsets are essential for teams to leverage on technology and innovation to drive transformation projects while delivering quality services to their customers.

ST Engineering

With a diverse portfolio of businesses spanning the aerospace, smart city, defence and public security segments, ST Engineering applies their technology and innovation to solve real-world problems and improve lives. ST Engineering is partnering with NUS-ISS for Technical training programmes and capability development for existing employees and new hires in Singapore and overseas. Sponsorship for the Master of Technology Software Engineering programme via stackable route has been planned for new batches yearly . NUS-ISS will also codevelop and deliver technical training programmes and capability development to the ST Engineering’s ecosystem of partners. ST Engineering will participate in internships, secondments and applied research projects, while supporting talent acquisition and career development activities.

Singapore Business Federation

Singapore Business Federation (SBF) has been partnering with NUS-ISS in delivering digitalisation programmes to their suite of member companies through its institute. Partnered since 2019, NUS-ISS delivered a suite of digital transformation programmes that provided upskilling opportunities for SBF members to adopt and integrate digital change within their organisations. Spreading the interest across their member organisations, NUS-ISS also participated jointly in SBF Forums in delivering talks on digital transformation topics.
Since the launch of NUS-ISS Blended Learning Programmes, SBF has been a supportive partner in joint marketing efforts for the Digitalisation Passport suite of programmes in Agility, Data and Innovation by Design Thinking. With a blend of virtual delivery and online learning, NUS-ISS has been successful in delivering training to its member companies with overseas offices.
