With decades of experience working with organisations and engaging working professionals, NUS-ISS understands the value and impact of empowered teams working towards common organisational outcomes. Through the ALPS structured approach, participants can have the best of both worlds to 'learn' and 'do' at the same time.

Our team of lecturers and industry practitioners support the process with inspirations, guidance, and coaching while participants learn and apply the learning to their company context.

The ALPS Approach

Active Learning

Active Learning

Participants construct their own learning, leveraging their domain knowledge and experiences into the problem-solving journey. Cross-functional team formation is encouraged to add different perspectives and expertise into the process.

Problem Solving

Problem Solving

Teams will work on a project related to their organization and directly apply the tools, techniques, and concepts. Our lecturers-practitioners will impart industry best practices and expertise through workshops and group coaching sessions.

Collaboration

Collaboration and Peer Learning

Team work will be a cornerstone of this approach. Participants learn to work with one another, tapping on the team's strength and power of collaboration.

Results

Tangible Outcomes

The teams will learn to set tangible, measurable outcomes and deliverables as part of the process. Team progress and milestones will be shared via stakeholder engagement showcase.

Personalization

Contextualised for the Organisation

We engage organisations to understand their intent, goals and context, before creating the programme contextualised to their needs.

Programme Format

We recommend the length of the programme to be stretched across weeks so that there is time for learning and application to the workplace projects. Depending on the organisation, we will use a mix of hands on workshop, online content, and team coaching sessions. In addition to the time spent interacting with the lecturers, participants are encouraged to work on their project independently.
