NUS-ISS has partnered Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital to provide mentorship support to guide Community Care Organisations in their technological adoption and process improvements under the SkillsFuture Queen Bee Mentorship Support Grant.

Deployed for the entire project duration, our dedicated mentors from the Digital Health Practice team will help determine your project requirements and key milestones. In consultation with you, they will recommend project management tools to help you fulfil your goals and achieve breakthrough outcomes, such as operational cost savings, accelerated technology adoption and optimised workflow.

Expected Outcomes
Technological Adoption and/or Process Innovation Skills transfer to team members
Positive impact on workplace / productivity improvement Completion of projects within 6 months
Community Care Organisations (CCOs) may be granted a subsidy from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) of up to 90% for project mentorship programmes.

Our approach to training, consultancy and research aims to be experiential and relevant to contemporary industry needs. Our lecturers undertake industry research to expand topical knowledge and drive thought leadership. Our graduate students work on applied research projects in the health sector to tackle real industry problems and create innovative solutions. Work With Our Students
We would love to work with your health sector organisation, if you are interested in setting a project challenge for our students.
  • Research projects should require 6 to 8 months to complete.
  • As their project sponsor, your organisation will provide a kick start briefing to our students.
  • Students will share the project progress for your review at least once during this period.
  • You will be presented with project findings on its completion

Mentorship Consulting

Our mentorship based consulting services are tailored to facilitate sustainable impacts when tackling organisational challenges faced during digital health and care transformation. Our methodology includes conducting interviews with your stakeholders, partners and customers; facilitate workshops and discussions, conduct customised training on a just in time basis, perform reviews and assessments, as well as provide advice and guidance towards a successful outcome.

Design4Impact is an open innovation platform that brings together passionate stakeholders to co-create and test sustainable and community-owned solutions for health and social needs amplified by COVID-19. The initiative emphasises the creation of simple and feasible solutions from the outset, such that they can be realistically adapted, implemented and scaled. Design4Impact is jointly led by MOH Office for Healthcare Transformation (MOHT) and the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), supported by DesignSingapore Council (Dsg) and NUS-ISS.

Yishun Health has partnered NUS-ISS to digitally transform its organisational processes and equip its staff with skills to manage data and cybersecurity issues, and harness software applications to deliver healthcare in new ways to meet changing demands.
