NUS-ISS x NVPC Presents Community Matters:

Tired of navigating this turbulent environment and having to adapt to endless cycles of changes? In this extremely volatile environment, we are called to stay nimble and pivot when needed. How do we build our dynamic capabilities and resilience to prepare ourselves to manage the unexpected? In this talk, we will explore the concept of agility in dealing with disruptions and uncertainty constructively while cultivating a capacity for constant change and innovation. We will also cover how to deal with change and how to get buy-in when change is necessary.

Ms Kym Loh 

Senior Lecturer & Consultant, Smart Health Leadership Centre

Prior to joining ISS, Kym was an accomplished Consultant and Trainer in the international Telecommunication, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Information & Technology industries. Demonstrating 21 years' experience driving customer success and sustainable services to guarantee long-term committed revenue. As an expert in establishing and maintaining relationships with learners, professionals, and employees, she is able to identify learning and development needs and creating bespoke knowledge plans to achieve progression development, confidence, and learning enjoyment. She utilises people management, coaching, stakeholder liaison and leadership experience to organise and scale teams. One of the key achievements include successfully mentored regional teams to safeguard best practices while brainstorming innovative thought processes to achieve organisational goals. She is an approachable mentor and champion of organisational improvement and personal development that grows people.

Kym graduated with a Master in Business and Administration (MBA) from Murdoch University, Australia.

Ms Bethia Chua 

Lecturer & Consultant, Smart Health Leadership Centre

Bethia is currently a Lecturer and Consultant with the NUS-ISS. She has more than 12 years of healthcare, service innovation, marketing and business experience in both public and private sectors. Prior to joining NUS-ISS, Bethia has spent years in the public healthcare institutions specialising in business and technology innovation, operations transformation and service quality management. Bethia’s people-centric disposition undergirds her involvement in numerous continuous improvement projects to improve patient’s experience.

Before joining the healthcare industry, Bethia led marketing campaigns and branding strategies for the private sector. Being naturally inquisitive and armed with an entrepreneurial spirit, Bethia was a co-creator of a F&B joint in her early years. She enjoys the rigour of a start-up business and is resourceful in meeting its challenges.
