The NUS-ISS Stackable Certificate Programme in Artificial Intelligence, leading to the Master of Technology in Artificial Intelligence Systems, is designed for working professionals seeking to master AI and smart systems techniques. Spanning a diverse array of application areas such as robotics, autonomous vehicles, IoT, smart cities, and Industry 4.0, alongside business applications, this programme offers a comprehensive exploration of AI's transformative potential.
Each graduate certificate is aligned to a specific job role (see job roles below) and provides participants with cutting-edge expertise in advanced AI technologies such as generative AI, deep learning, neural networks, and Large Language Models (LLMs), customised for that job role within the AI domain. Earning a graduate certificate through this programme signifies a targeted proficiency in AI job roles, unlocking diverse opportunities across industry sectors.
This Stackable Graduate Certificate Programme in Artificial Intelligence pathway allows Professionals, Managers, and Executives (PMEs) to build up to the Master of Technology degree through attaining a series of NUS-ISS graduate certificates followed by a capstone project. The pathway allows 5 years to attain the required graduate certificates and 2 years to complete the capstone, though most stackable participants will finish faster. They have the flexibility to study at their own pace by selecting modular courses that comprise the graduate certificates to meet their individual needs. PMEs who opt not to stack the graduate certificates will still benefit from attending individual courses or graduate certificates, as it’s an equally valid pathway to acquire the AI skills required to enhance their career prospects.
Stack Up to a Master of Technology in Artificial Intelligence Systems
Participants who wish to continue their learning journey towards the
Master of Technology in Artificial Intelligence Systems degree will have to complete
2 mandatory certificates in the fundamental areas,
any 2 of 4 certificates
in the specialist areas as well as a
Capstone Project in Artificial Intelligence.
Participants will gain in-depth experience and also demonstrate ability by applying Artificial Intelligence techniques to build systems that make intelligent decision based on diverse data and sensory inputs.
