Course Content
- Introduction to Integrated Robotics and Automated Systems: Gain foundational knowledge about the integration of robotics in various sectors.
- Autonomous Behaviour in Integrated Systems: Learn about the principles and implementation of autonomous behaviours in robots.
- Sensory Systems for Integrated Robotics: Explore the design and configuration of sensory systems to enhance robotic perception.
- Locomotion in Integrated Robotic Systems: Understand the mechanics and control of robotic movement.
- Path Planning and Navigation in Integrated Robotics: Delve into techniques for efficient path planning and navigation.
- Soft Computing Techniques in Integrated Robotics: Discover the application of soft computing methods in developing intelligent robotic systems.
You will gain practical experience through scenario-based case studies and hands-on sessions using a ROS-enabled robotic system (as depicted below), providing a tangible understanding of robotic articulation and control. You will also develop skills in configuring sensory systems from scratch for the robotic system, enhancing its ability to interact with and perceive its environment.
This course is part of the Artificial Intelligence series and Graduate Certificate in Intelligent Robotic Systems Series offered by NUS-ISS.
