Skills For Transformation Programme

 

The “Skills for Transformation” Programme is a full suite skills development programme specially developed to support enterprises that are keen in embarking on a digital transformation journey and are concerned with developing their in-house talent to become change agents and be ready for digital transformation.

The Skills for Transformation Programme comprises Design, Training & Acquisition and Implementation phases.

At the end of the programme, the participants will be able to:

  • Develop Skills Transformation Plan with identification of critical jobs and skills needed for business transformation
  • Identify training programmes for critical skills, according to the Skills Transformation Plan.
  • Apply new skills to deliver a Business Transformation Project

Intended Audience
Organisations who are keen develop relevant digital skills in their employees to support their digital transformation objectives.


Prerequisites
Before commencing on the Design phase in the Skills for Transformation Programme, the participating enterprise should have the following plans ready to be shared with NUS-ISS:

  • Business strategy plan to illustrate its business model and direction;
  • Technology strategy plan to define the type of technology and development;
  • Implementation (Project) plan to implement digital transformation.

Practicum Activities (8 weeks)

Phase 1 (3 weeks)
Identification and assess new critical jobs and skills for business transformation

Phase 2 (3 weeks)
Develop Skills Transformation Plan

Phase 3 (2 weeks)
Review and finalise Skills Transformation Plan 
Identified employees will go through the skills training needed for their job according to the Skills Transformation Plan developed in Design stage.

NUS-ISS would also help the enterprise in skills talent acquisition, if applicable.

Develop Business Transformation Project Plan and success metrics

Phase 2 (12 weeks)
Implementing Business Transformation Project

Phase 3 (2 weeks)
Post Implementation Review of Business Transformation Project
