Janice is an accomplished healthcare leader with over 20 years of diverse experience spanning hospitals, eldercare, management consulting, and government sectors. She has a proven track record of building integrated healthcare ecosystems, pioneering innovative programs, designing state-of-the-art facilities, and driving technological advancements and transformative change to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

As the former Head of Residential Care at NTUC Health, Janice played a pivotal role in scaling nursing homes, increasing capacity from 850 to 1,700 beds. She led the adoption of cutting-edge technologies such as automated visitor face recognition systems, nurse rostering solutions, and autonomous guided vehicles, all of which contributed to enhanced operational efficiency and patient care. In 2020, Janice also spearheaded the COVID-19 response, ensuring a zero-case record across its facilities.

Prior to her role at NTUC Health, Janice served as Chief Operating Officer of a premier specialty private hospital in Kuala Lumpur while also holding the position of Head of Operational and Service Improvement at Parkway Pantai, IHH Healthcare, where she led change management across 13 hospitals in Malaysia. Her career further includes roles at Singapore General Hospital and National University Hospital, where she was instrumental in the establishment of the National University Cancer Institute (NCIS) and the design of the Medical Centre at NUH.

Janice began her career at the Singapore Economic Development Board, where she developed a strong foundation in understanding the healthcare ecosystem and engaging effectively with multidisciplinary stakeholders. With extensive experience across both public and private sectors, Janice has navigated the complexities of healthcare systems while delivering impactful solutions across diverse organizational and policy landscapes.
