Oman Jury

22 October 2018, Ashok Kumar, Centre Director of the Singapore eGovernment Leadership Centre, was a member of jury for Oman’s His Majesty eGovernment Excellence Award 2018, Muscat Oman. The jury committee consists of a number of international and local experts in eGovernance who have participated in evaluating several international awards in the field.

NSDC MoU

31 May 2018, The Singapore e-Government Leadership Centre (eGL) at the National University of Singapore’s Institute of Systems Science (NUS-ISS) and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India have come together to collaborate on the skilling initiatives for India’s workforce.

Digital Bangladesh MoU

13 March 2018, The Singapore e-Government Leadership Centre (eGL) at the National University of Singapore’s Institute of Systems Science (NUS-ISS) will strengthen its collaboration with the Bangladesh government to institutionalise and deliver capacity building programmes to support the Digital Bangladesh Vision 2021.


Sri Lankan Prime Minister Office

20 October 2017, Our Centre Director, Ashok Kumar, delivered a talk in SLIDA, Colombo at a seminar organised by Sri Lanka Prime Minister Office on 20th October 2017 on 'Effective Public Service Delivery'.


e-Governance and IT System Management course

24 - 28 July 2017, We successfully completed Training Programme on “e-Governance and IT System Management” for the staff of Ministry of Finance, Sri Lanka.

23 June 2017, Our Centre Director, eGovernment Leadership Centre, NUS-ISS, Ashok Kumar, delivered a talk on Overcoming Challenges through Technology for Public Service, at the UN Public Services Forum 2017 at The Hague.

5 September 2016, eGL are conducting a 5-day "Developing Digital Government Strategies" course for Government Officials from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam. The course provides them with an understanding of e-Government and its best practices, as well as how e-Government strategies can be developed and implemented by public sector organisations for outreach and transformational purposes in the context of Laos.

22 June 2016, The Singapore e-Government Leadership Centre at NUS Institute of Systems Science recently concluded a two-year programme with Bangladesh, co-funded by a2i Bangladesh and Temasek Foundation.

The collaboration is designed to help Bangladesh move towards achieving their vision of a Digital Bangladesh.

13 April 2016, eGL hosted the Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP) state in India, led by Dr. P. Raghunatha Reddy, Honorable Minister for Information Technology, Mr. P. Narayana, Honorable Minister for Municipal Administration and Mr. J. Satyanarayana, Advisor, e-Governance to the GoAP.
