Professor Abu Bakar Munir (Malaysia)
Abu Bakar Munir is an internationally renowned scholar, expert and consultant on data protection law and ICT Law. Currently, he is a Professor of Law at the Faculty of Law and Associate Fellow at the University Of Malaya Malaysian Centre Of Regulatory Studies (UMCoRS). He is also a Visiting Professor at several universities in Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and Europe.
He has published widely on legal and regulatory issues, his most recent work; Personal Data Protection in Malaysia: Law and Practice published in 2010. He is currently working on another book on Data Protection Law in Asia Pacific.
Previously, he was appointed the Adviser to the Government of Malaysia on data protection law in 2007 and was instrumental in crafting and the passing of the MPDPA 2010. He was also responsible for developing the academic draft of the proposed data protection law for the Republic of Indonesia.

Mr Lim Kian Kim (Singapore)
Lim Kian Kim is currently President of Singapore Cloud Forum, an association for cloud computing professionals. He contributes regularly to Global Privacy Advisors, the newsletter of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). He is also the chapter author of Singapore in Global Privacy & Security Law Reference, Aspen Publishers , and an editorial board member of The Journal of Information Privacy & Security (JIPS), University of Wisconsin at White-water.
He was formerly the Chief Privacy Officer/Corporate Counsel (Asia Pacific) for a US healthcare research company and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Monash University and National University of Singapore, and holds professional certifications in information security and conflict management.
