The 4th Architecture Community of Practice (ACoP) Forum presents - Business Use of Social Media and Impact on Enterprise Architecture

EA-banner
Social Media is increasingly being used by enterprises to achieve business objectives (eg. marketing, crowd sourcing, etc). However, Enterprise Architecture frameworks have yet to explicitly cater to social media.

In this session, hear from experienced practitioners how social media is making inroads into the enterprise and why it needs to be catered for in the planning and governance of enterprise architecture. Learn how EA frameworks like TOGAF can help cater, to some extent, for the planning and governance of the use of social media, and what more needs to be done to cater for how social media usage is different from conventional IT usage.

An Architecture Community of Practice (ACoP) Forum

The Architecture Community of Practice (ACoP) is made up of passionate professionals specialising in enterprise, business, information, application, technology and solution architectures.
