He has regional marketing skills across South Asia and South East Asia with 10 years of Marketing and P&L experience in the Consumer services industry backed by 4 years of Sales and Marketing with a top FMCG organisation. Cedric specialises in brand marketing, developing/executing business strategy and digital marketing with consumer focus towards market leadership.

Mr. Joseph Sales Digital Director, UM Singapore

Before joining UM, Mr. Joseph Sales worked with Havas Media in the Philippines handling mostly Unilever’s personal care and food brands. Most of these brands are very active in social media with goals of achieving leadership in social media fan base and conversation. He also worked with Omnicom Media Group, forming and leading its digital division, servicing its three media brands – OMD, PHD, and M2M. While at OMG, Joseph worked on FMCG, technology, retail, and finance brands. Some of the brands which Joseph worked on to have high digital and social media presence were Sunsilk, VISA, HP, Pizza Hut, Snickers and Sony.

Adept with digital media strategy, storytelling, digital creative, content development, and social media, Joseph brings into the table years of digital experience.

Mr. Chia Han-Leon Lecturer, Enterprise Social Business, Institute of Systems Science, NUS

Mr. Chia Han-Leon has been working in the fields of online content and community development since the late 1990s. Before the days of Web 2.0, he led one of Singapore’s pioneer web magazines, The Flying Inkpot from 1997-2002, publishing over 1000 widely-read articles under his editorship. He has since worked with a mixture of private and public companies, in the areas of eCommerce, trade facilitation, online ticketing, knowledge management and digital social marketing. He has been responsible in a wide range of web-related roles such as web design, website QA, website development, online content development, community engagement and social media. Prior to joining ISS, Leon worked at Nexus, the national education branch of the Ministry of Defence, Singapore. There, he overhauled the online content and engagement strategy, redesigned the Connexion.sg website and helped grow its flagship Facebook page from 4000 to over 26000 fans in one year.
