Housing & Development Board (HDB) is Singapore's public housing authority and a statutory board. Since 1980s, HDB had managed to overcome challenges of housing a nation and in a short span of 50 years, enabled more than 80% of Singaporeans to become house owners.
The HDB's Enterprise Architecture (EA) programme is put in place to ensure that ICT initiatives are aligned with its corporate goals and strategies to achieve organisation excellence. Through its EA, strategic ICT projects are identified to implement and support the corporate strategies. EA Governance was put in place to ensure that business processes are standardised, optimised and re-used.
HDB Enterprise Architecture won the 'iCMG Enterprise & IT Architecture Excellence Awards 2013", in the category of "Best Enterprise & IT Architecture in Government / Defence / Public Sector" when pitted against 15 other international participants.
