The 14th Architecture Community of Practice (ACoP) Forum: Enterprise Approach towards Cost Savings and Enterprise Agility

In this session, you will hear from Mr Poon See Hong, Deputy Director (Planning), Police Logistics Department, Singapore Police Force on how to:

  • Ensure Business-IT alignment by using Enterprise Architecture (EA) as an enterprise planning tool to aid management in the decision-making process for developing the “to-be” business architecture and IT solutions.
  • Manage the complexities of IT by providing business stakeholders and IT specialists with a clear picture of the connection between the “to-be” business architecture and IT solutions to achieve coherent and consistent results.
  • Break the silo barriers by adopting the established EA products, descriptions, modelling tools and methodologies to develop business process models and solution options.
  • Move up the EA maturity ladder by adopting EA best practices to gain enterprise-wide synergies from the ability to share data and re-use of business processes across lines of business.
