StackUp BMT (Build More Things) Workshop – Build Voice Enabled Applications (with Google Assistant)

The mobile phone has extended the reach of traditional applications that were once accessible only via the desktop machines to being mobile and ubiquitous today.

With applications being mobile, voice and free text offers an unprecedented level of usability. Using Alexa, the Google Assistant, you can now query your application with voice or create an order with free text.

Join us in this 1 day workshop where you will learn how you can use Google’s DialogFlow to add voice interface to applications.

Learn how to create chatbots that will do the following:

  • capture pertinent information from voice input
  • offer suggestions or ask follow-up questions
  • create rich responses with images or ‘cards’
  • save conversational data to Firebase
  • integrate with popular chat interfaces like Slack or Telegram
