NUS-ISS StackUp Workshop: Curious about Golang?

Go is an open source programming language that makes it easy to build simple, reliable and efficient software. It was designed by Google to improve software development more productive and scalable. Some influential Golang projects include Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Etcd and Consul.

In this demo oriented session, we will learn the golang as in language constucts. And compare with other languages like js , python. Some of the topics that will be covered in the session as follows

• Variables, Loops , Conditionals, Switch, Functions
• Arrays, Slices, Maps
• Structs, Methods, Interfaces
• Goroutines, Channels

Note: This session will not cover Python or JS and assumes that you have some familiarity with some programming languages.
