JavaScript is the lingua franca of the web. If you are interested in learning modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue and Angular then having a good grasp of JavaScript is essential.
Progate and Institute of System Science, NUS will be conducting a free JavaScript workshop. The workshop is designed for those who are interested in embarking on a software development career or anyone who is curious about programming.
In this 3 hours workshop, you will learn the following:
- Overview of JavaScript (ES6)
- Variables, Loops , Conditionals, Switch, Functions and etc
- Build an easy web application applying basic knowledge of JavaScript

Founded Progate in July, 2014 with “Empowering everyone to open new doors through programming” as its vision. Featured in “Forbes 30 Under 30 ASIA 2018".

Joined in Progate in 2017 as a software engineer. Experienced web development with Ruby, Ruby on Rails and React.js and mobile app development with React Native.
