Grab is constantly trying to close the gap between external and internal business contexts. We actively utilise text analytics to classify Grab users’ comments into various domain areas or problem spaces to derive key business insights. We employ NLP to transform the qualitative to quantitative by exploring the construction of a sentiment scoring model to digest customer reviews, comments, and feedback.

Weng Lung has close to three decades of experience in investment banking in Asia Pacific, having worked for investment banks in Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore. He founded d-Risk Technology which is a Fintech start-up for credit assessment using ML in 2017, which has created a paradigm shift in the financial industry. The company has recently been selected by the Japanese government to participate in the Accelerator Program FinTech business camp.
