Siyong Liu is a Productivity Technologist who partners with organizations to implement cutting edge, yet practical technologies that help boost productivity. Siyong strongly believes that technologies like Robotic Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence are shaping the Future of Work, and that we need to disrupt ourselves before we get disrupted by others. Siyong recently founded his own start-up, CFB Bots, which provides a digital workforce solution that enables companies to be cheaper, faster and better. Siyong holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from National University of Singapore.

Caleb is passionate about using technology to build applications for solving the problems different target groups in society face. He never stop questioning issues and others to understand the root causes of the problems he tries to solve in his projects.
His purpose and experience in technology revolves around building web and android mobile application. He hopes to teach technology and empower orphans and the poor generation to have the technical skills to build applications for a living.

His mission lies in empowering broken hearted and orphans to restored confident heroes of society. He tries to mentor the younger generation in understanding their purpose and direction in their lives.

He volunteers with the Institute of Mental Health and the Google Developer Group Singapore in organising events to gather like minded people to serve the community. The fruits of his volunteering has distributed joy to the developers and volunteers who have participated in the events he has planned and particpated in. His motivations in volunteer arise from others guiding and giving him advice in life. He hope to do so by journeying alongside others to spread joy and knowledge.

Caleb is a public speaker and has spoken in difference conferences and technical meetup. He last spoke at Super Apps Asia summit 2020 on building a viral mobile application for your startup by sharing case studies of user interface examples in mobile applications from Carousell and Grab. He has also spoken in technnological meetups such as Wordpress SG (Wordpress Plugins), JuniorDevSG (PWA). He is passionate about Android, Web and Data Analytics.

Dr Suriya Asaithambi

Principal Lecturer & Consultant, Software Systems Practice
View Biography

Suria has twenty years of teaching and consulting experience in areas such as software engineering, application architecture, crafting cloud services, agile development and big data engineering. Her research interest spans around cloud computing, software engineering, test automation and big data engineering. Prior to joining ISS, she worked as technical consultant in various capacities for software firms and MNCs where her roles and contribution involved application architecture, leadership, and software delivery and stakeholder management. Prior to migrating to Singapore, she was a senior lecturer in School of Computing, SASTRA India.

At SASTRA, she has taught a range of computing subjects such as parallel & distributed systems, computer algorithms, compiler design and database management. At Institute of systems science, she her focus is on different styles of distributed computing. She handles architectural, organizational and engineering aspects of enterprise platforms, grid computing, cloud computing, software development, software testing and big data engineering for analytics.

Suria is passionate about creating software that is elegantly engineered, user-centric, adaptable, maintainable and lucrative. She has taught international audiences of various background. She enjoys mentoring, teaching and crafting course materials that engages active learning among participants.

In research, Suria has published research articles in conferences and seminars. She also participates in review and approval of technical references and standards related to Cloud Computing as a member of ITSC, Singapore. In addition to her teaching and research portfolios, Suria has also contributed as a vendor neutral consultant in various capacities.
