Ms Kym Loh

Prior to joining NUS-ISS, Kym was an accomplished Consultant and Trainer in the international Telecommunication, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Information & Technology industries. Demonstrating 21 years' experience driving customer success and sustainable services to guarantee long-term committed revenue. As an expert in establishing and maintaining relationships with learners, professionals, and employees, she is able to identify learning and development needs and creating bespoke knowledge plans to achieve progression development, confidence, and learning enjoyment. She utilises people management, coaching, stakeholder liaison and leadership experience to organise and scale teams. One of the key achievements include successfully mentored regional teams to safeguard best practices while brainstorming innovative thought processes to achieve organisational goals. She is an approachable mentor and champion of organisational improvement and personal development that grows people.

Kym graduated with a Master in Business and Administration (MBA) from Murdoch University, Australia.

Mr Aaron Chua

Aaron has more than 18 years of IT technical, scrum and agile experience. Prior to joining NUS-ISS, he was the Agile Coach with Singapore Pools. He coached projects using agile methodologies and help to cultivate agile cultural in the company. Before joining Singapore Pools, he was the Scrum Master with the Viseo Asia Singapore. One of his key achievements included the successful implementation of scaled scrum framework for all feature teams working on a smartphone platform.

He started his Agile journey since 2011 by using scrum for small agile projects and LeSS methodology for larger projects. His first agile pathway was with Maloft Pte Ltd as IT Manager cum Agile Coach. Subsequently, he continued to gain more agile project experiences as Chief Operations Officer with Keritos Pte Ltd and Scrum Master at IBM Singapore. During his tenure with Maloft, he managed to implement some major agile projects, such as online gaming, financial reporting, trading and monitoring platform by using scrum, Kanban, lean software development and extreme programming. He had also worked as IT Project Manager at Kelly Outsourcing and Consulting Group and Hewitt HR Delivery Services Pte Ltd.  He started as a system developer and analyst during the earlier part of his career.

Aaron graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Information Systems and Computer Science) from National University of Singapore.

Dr Poh Pei Ghim

View Biography

Dr Poh Pei Ghim received his Medical Degree from the University of Glasgow in 2012. 

He worked in the government sector for 5 years and is the first author of several published papers, of which a notable mention involves MRI safety in cardiac pacemaker imaging. This was presented in conferences in Singapore and Toronto. This won the bronze award at the American Roentgen Ray Society Meeting 2015, one of the largest radiological scientific meetings in the world. He is also a software developer trained in Machine Learning and had developed award-winning AI modules that could recognise features on images such as X-rays.

In 2017, he joined iDOC Clinic as a co-founder of its very first clinic in Hougang to pursue his interest in medical informatics, with the goal to deliver telemedicine and other high-tech medical solutions to the community. The EasyCare program was also developed by Dr Poh in 2018, that aimed at improving healthcare access through telehealth features provided by iDOC Clinic. This includes an e-commerce platform, teleconsultation platform, remote diagnostics, risk assessments, health tracking and data analytics.

In 2019, EasyCare International Pte Ltd was registered as a separate entity where it currently serves as the backbone for multiple healthcare providers (including iDOC Clinic) to work seamlessly while providing the software and tools to help doctors function in a safe and efficient manner and shares the same values as iDOC Clinic: to empower patients to take charge of their own health through all means including technology, research and education. The iDOC Clinic Medical Group has now expanded from 1 to 3 GP clinics over the last 5 years.

Beyond his research and software development activities at iDOC Clinic and EasyCare, Dr Poh is also a director of Xellink Solutions (now Xellink Pte Ltd) since 2011 and continues his contribution to the open-source community including tutorials, with special focus in Linux operating systems, automation, machine learning and artificial intelligence. Most of these are available freely for reference for non-commercial use.

Dr Poh currently serves as the Chief Medical Informatics Officer at iDOC Clinic Medical Group and the Chief Operating Officer of EasyCare Pte Ltd.

Dr Keren Priyadarshini

As Regional Business Lead of Worldwide Health for Microsoft Asia, Dr. Keren Priyadarshini leads the company’s healthcare business segment across 17 markets in Asia Pacific.

Dr. Priyadarshini is responsible for driving and implementing Microsoft’s healthcare initiatives across the region as well as developing solution offerings and strategies that meet the needs of healthcare and life science customers. She also plays a leading role in establishing thought leadership by defining and articulating the company’s vision for the future of healthcare and sharing how Microsoft technologies and partner solutions are making it a reality.

Dr. Priyadarshini is passionate about empowering providers, payors, and life science companies with the right technology to enable better patient outcomes at lower costs. Improving the quality of healthcare through digital transformation, enabling wider access to healthcare as life expectancy increases, and keeping rising costs in check are issues that keep her awake at night.

Her desire is to create a world of ‘Intelligent Healthcare’ through AI and the cloud, to unlock biological insight and break data from silos for a truly personal understanding of human health and in turn, enable better access to care, lower costs and improved outcomes.

Dr. Priyadarshini moved to Singapore almost 15 years ago and has been instrumental in establishing the Asia Pacific business for multinational healthcare companies such as GfK and Truven Health. Before joining Microsoft, Dr. Priyadarshini was the Asia Pacific Vice President of Sales for Truven Health Analytics, part of IBM Watson Health, where she pioneered the adoption of Watson in the region.

Born in Chennai, India, Dr. Priyadarshini graduated as a Fellow from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM-A), Ahmedabad, where she completed her Doctorate in Business Management.

Dr. Priyadarshini is married with two children. In her spare time, she works with less privileged kids and helps them realize their potential through innovative methods. She is also a foster parent with the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) in Singapore and has fostered several children over the last eight years.
