Mr Bahren Shaari is the CEO of Bank of Singapore. He has more than 30 years of banking experience holding various senior positions at UBS American Express. Mr Shaari has been an independent director of Singapore Press Holdings since 2012. He is a member of the Council of Presidential Advisers and an IBF Distinguished Fellow. An NUS alumna, Mr Shaari was conferred the Public Service Star Medal in 2018 and the Public Service Medal in 2008.
Mr Dirk Peter van Leeuwen is the senior vice president and general manager for Red Hat in Asia Pacific and Japan. Mr Leeuwen is responsible for expanding Red Hat's presence, and overseeing all sales, marketing, and services throughout the region, enabling customers to succeed in innovation and thrive in the digital economy. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the IT industry and a deep understanding of the enterprise software market and channels in Europe and Asia-Pacific. Mr Leeuwen also volunteers at Protégé, a Singapore-based mentoring programme focused on the professional development of business women.
Mr Foo Kok Jwee is the Deputy Chief Executive of Workforce Singapore. Mr Foo worked in several roles in the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Prior to his current appointment, he was concurrently Singapore’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office at Geneva and Vienna. During this period he was also the Resident Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). As Director-General of the Technical Cooperation Directorate between 2011 and 2014, he ran the Singapore Cooperation Programme, a primary platform through which Singapore extends technical assistance to more than 100 developing countries around the world. An NUS alumna, Mr Foo graduated with a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering. He later earned a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School and awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) by the Government of Singapore in 2015.
Mr Lawrence Ng is the Regional Head of IT at the Port Authority of Singapore (PSA) where he oversees the delivery of large scale enterprise systems and infrastructure for its business units in the South East Asia region. His responsibilities also include ensuring the smooth provision of network, IT operations and cybersecurity functions for PSA Singapore, the flagship terminal of PSA International. Mr Ng holds a NUS Bachelor of Science Honours Degree and actively volunteers in Singapore Computer Society (SCS) as Vice President in the Executive Council.
Mr Ng Kuo Pin is the CEO of NCS. Mr Ng brings with him 24 years of management and technology consulting experience having held various executive leadership positions in Accenture. He started as an analyst in 1994 and was made partner in 2006. Between 2006 to 2018, he took on 3 senior leadership roles within the Global Communications, Media and Technology (CMT) operating group as Head of CMT Singapore, Head of CMT Greater China, and finally as Head of Consulting for CMT Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East. Currently based in Singapore, he spent nine years living and working in Beijing and Sydney.
Mr Quek Siu Rui is the co-founder of homegrown start-up, Carousell and is deeply involved in product strategy, international expansion and growth which has now seen 250 million listings. Prior to Carousell, he spent some time in marketing and product management at VSee, Ogilvy & Mather and DBS Vickers. Mr Quek read Business Administration as an NUS Alumna and topics such as Global Entrepreneurial Marketing and Sustainable Product Development at Stanford University under the NUS Overseas College Program in Silicon Valley, California.

Members of the board led by chair lady, Ms Janet Ang are made up of prominent leaders shaping the public service and private sector, and works with NUS-ISS management and stakeholders to play a central role in leading Singapore’s aspiration towards a Smart Nation.
