A New Chapter for our Master of Technology Graduates 2023

Held on 6 July 2023 at the University Cultural Centre, we celebrated the achievements of our newly-minted NUS-ISS Master of Technology (MTech) graduates as they attained a major milestone in life.

In the presence of family and friends, the Ceremonial Procession took place followed by the playing of the National Anthem and the presentation of certificates to our graduates. Everyone soaked in the heartfelt speeches and pompous atmosphere. 



Valedictorian, Mr Lim Qin Kai (above, pictured), who graduated with a Master of Technology in Enterprise Business Analytics shared his learning journey, "The field of technology and data science progresses incredibly fast, with new breakthroughs and developments every day. However, I am confident that our school has prepared us well for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. One of NUS-ISS’ strengths is the practice-based curriculum and the wealth of industry knowledge that the professors and lecturers share with the students".  

He added, "the fact that the cohort comprises of working professionals from different industries also meant that there is much that we learnt from each other. From my group mates, I had the opportunity to learn about how data science can take different shapes in banking and finance, FMCG and many others. This shared experience has transformed us from a group of individuals interested in learning more about technology to a community of lifelong friends."

The ceremony went on with great enthusiasm and anticipation, testament to the hard work, dedication, and achievements of the graduates. It was a moment of pride not only for the graduates themselves but also for their families,
