Covid-19 Updates

In light of the enhanced precautionary measures implemented by the Ministry of Health (MOH) concerning gatherings outside work and school, Institute of Systems Science as part of the larger National University of Singapore community is managing our classes/lessons taking guidance from our Office of Safety, Health and Environment (OSHE), Ministry of Education (MOE), SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and Workforce Singapore (WSG).
Classes will continue as scheduled and the guidance on capping class size to no more than 25 people with necessary precautionary measures are to be strictly adhered to.

We would like to share the following precautionary measures taken by NUS-ISS to ensure the well-being of our learners, academic and admin staff.

Travel Declaration & Health Advisory

Declaration of travel history and plans, ensuring those affected by travel restrictions or who are unwell, do not attend classes.

Mandatory Temperature Screening

Students and staff are to continue recording daily temperature readings twice, at https://myaces.nus.edu.sg/htd.
At point of temperature screening, participants and visitors above 37.5 degrees will be disallowed from entering NUS-ISS premises and training rooms.

Regular Cleaning

Cleaning of NUS-ISS facilities four times a day, conducted in accordance to MOH guidelines.

Provision of Hand Sanitisers in Premise

Hand sanitisers are available for usage at NUS-ISS lobby entrance.

Class Arrangements for Students/Participants

Class size is capped at 25 persons and dependent on room capacity. Seating arrangements will be placed in alternate seats and alternate rows with 1m safe distancing. Do not sit where a red 'X' marking is indicated.
All class and group activities will not involve physical contact. Learners are encouraged to avoid mingling at common spaces; tea-break refreshments are individually packed in bento boxes and all are advised to consume the refreshments in class.
Online e-Learning classes will continue for classes with more than 25 students. Contact course instructors for more details.

Thank you for your co-operation. We assure you that NUS-ISS is closely monitoring the situation and will respond immediately to any escalation of matters. Play your part in containing the spread and practise good personal hygiene. Let us continue to work together and stay vigilant to safeguard the NUS-ISS community and mitigate any potential risk.
