What Will be Covered
This course is organised into 3 modules:
Module A: Strategic Futures and Foresight
This module is to quips participants to apply robust foresight—combining qualitative and quantitative trends and drivers analysis, technology horizon scanning and assessment, and blended sense-making—to improve strategic decision-making in uncertain environments.
Module B: Digital Transformation Maturity Review
This module is to enhance digitalisation capability with focus on improving policy-ops-tech capabilities, optimising service delivery and processes, and leveraging data for decision-making. Additionally, to understand the benefits of higher digital maturity, key leadership contributions, and steps to initiate digital maturity improvements.
Module C: Making Better Decisions with Data
The essence of this module is that everybody makes decisions - some decisions can be better, and data helps us to make better decisions. It will introduce the NUS-ISS Data Driven Decision Making model, and participants will use their own real-life scenarios to create a data-driven workflow leading to making better decisions.
Who Should Attend
This course is tailored for senior leaders and executives in the public safety and security domain who are responsible for steering their organisation’s digital transformation efforts. They may include:
• C-Suite Executives
• Directors and managers of strategy, IT, or operations
• Business unit heads
• Executives of transformation office/taskforce
Pre-requisites
• Given the strategic orientation of the course, participants should typically have at least 10 years of professional experience.
• Participants should have prior knowledge on digitalisation or digital transformation, and how they enhance business and operations competitiveness.
