The aim of this course, Leading Digital Transformation for Senior Leaders, is to provide senior leaders with a strategic understanding and appreciation of the opportunities and challenges presented by digital transformation and emerging technologies, specifically within the context of public safety and security.
This course is part of the Leading Digital Transformation for Senior Leaders Programme. The programme comprises of the following three courses.
Course 1: Leadership Skills for Digital Transformation (3 Days)
Course 2: Digital Skills for Leaders (3 Days)
Course 3: Emerging Technologies and Governance (4 Days)
The three courses can be taken in any order. Completion of all the three courses and a Practice module will lead to the award of a Professional Certificate.
Emerging Technologies and Governance covers the usage of emerging technologies and introduce the key aspects of digital governance.
Digital technologies are key enablers for digital transformation. Out of the suite of emerging technologies, AI, smart systems and robotics are posed to have transformative impact on the way organisation operates. This course will examine the basics and capabilities of these emerging technologies, explore relevant use cases and look at the future trends.
Besides usage of technology, leaders need to be cognizant of the governance aspect in digital transformation. Participants will be introduced to the key components of digital governance, including risk management. The course will also cover governance in cybersecurity, data and AI.
