Develop your career with NUS-ISS Digital Innovation & Design Practice. We are seeking dynamic and motivated individuals with strong industry expertise to join us as a Lecturer & Consultant . Play a key role in driving innovation, shaping digital experiences, and inspiring the next generation of professionals through education and applied research.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Development and delivery of courseware curriculum and assessment for the Digital Innovation and Design practice.
- Translate practical industry experience and expertise into capability development across Service Design, User Experience (UX), Innovation, and Digital Transformation.
- Lead and deliver practice-oriented consultancy projects with industry partners, while driving programme planning, marketing, and execution across both training and consulting offerings.
- Conduct applied research to generate insights, frameworks, and best practices that strengthen digital innovation and design capabilities.
- Represent the Digital Innovation & Design Practice at industry network events and contribute to the strategic direction of NUS-ISS.
- Contribute to thought leadership and support organisational development initiatives.
Requirements:
- A good university degree or postgraduate in Service Design, Design Thinking, User Experience (UX), Customer Experience (CX), Innovation & Technology, or a related discipline.
- Has at least 10 years of relevant industrial experience, ideally in a design, innovation, or digital transformation role. Experience in AI, particularly agentic AI in delivering design solutions is an advantage.
- Strong passion for teaching and mentoring, with the ability to engage and inspire adult learners.
- Exhibits excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Experience delivering training, workshops, or corporate learning programmes is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to design and facilitate experiential, hands-on learning activities that support practical skills development.
- Up-to-date knowledge of emerging digital trends, technologies and relevant tools or platforms.
