Mr Han Chung Heng is the Senior Vice President, Hybrid Cloud Systems, responsible for the Digital Infrastructure business for Asia Pacific and Japan. Han is also the Senior Vice President, Alliances & Channels, leading the strategy and execution of the partner ecosystem in the Asia Pacific region.
An IT industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, Han is a thought leader beyond business interactions, and a practical futurist. He is also the Vice President in the Executive Council of the Singapore Computer Society (SCS) and SCS Fellow, of the leading information and communications and digital media professional society in Singapore.
Han is also an active committee member of the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID), the national association of company directors whose mission is to uphold and enhance the highest standards of corporate governance and ethical conduct.
Constantly seeking new ideas and ways for his organization to be sustainable and to grow, Han is very forward looking and has a vested interest in keeping abreast of market trends, such as transformational approaches like the Metaverse, Generative AI, blockchain, Cyber-security, sustainable development and using technology for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals, the future of work and digital transformation.
Han believes in lifelong learning; he is constantly reskilling and upskilling himself and his team. He is a prominent keynote speaker at regional and international conferences and events, where he continues to drive these key messages to his customers and partners in order to help them evolve and transform with the current landscape and digital age.
Prior to joining Oracle, Han was Vice President of the IBM server solution group for Asia Pacific. In this role, he was responsible for sales management, driving revenue, profit and loss for IBM's high-end server portfolio including its Power Systems and mainframe offerings. He lived for five years in China, leading the Greater China business for IBM.
