Profile

Christopher Lek has more than 18 years of IT experience in telecommunication industry, banking sector as well as Global conglomerates. He has managed different roles from Governance, Risk management, Security architecture and Cyber defence. 

He is currently the Director of Cyber Security in a local tertiary institution.  Christopher graduated from Nanyang Technological University (Computer Engineering) and is certified in CCISO, CISSP, PMP, and ITIL. He also holds several GIAC certifications in Digital forensic, Malware Analysis, Incident Response and Industrial Control security. 

He also serves as an adjunct lecturer and an authorized instructor with (ISC)². 

He has been active in the IT Security community, Christopher also served in the Technical Committee in Center for Strategic Cyberspace & International Studies (CSCIS) focusing on the Internet of Things security. He was part of the Honeynet Project (Singapore Chapter) where he has contributed to research and open source project.
