Digital transformation or digitalisation is a top agenda on many companies today, who are facing with external disruptions, existence threats to find new growth areas or risk being irrelevant.
To successfully embrace digitalisation, a significant change in delivery practices, tech stack adoption, skills and mindset of traditional organizations is imminent.
However this could conflict with enterprise architecture practices within established companies where governance rather than agility prevails.
Does this mean the dilution of our enterprise architecture efforts and planning and potentially our careers?
This presentation attempts to provide a point of view of the impact to enterprise architecture practices due to this transformation wave.
This is by no means an expert top-down narrative but the speaker would like to also hear fellow enterprise architecture practitioners on their views of the matter and how they have faced or overcome some of the challenges.
This Architecture Community of Practice forum will provide an overview of how digital transformation impacts on enterprise architecture.
