Daniel Boey is the Chief, Digital Products and Platforms Practice at the Institute of System Science, National University of Singapore. He leads a teaching and consultancy team in the practice of digital products, digital projects and digital platforms strategies and management.
He specializes in digital product and project management processes design competency development and training. He is currently the product manager/course manager of the courses Managing Business Analytics Projects and PMP for Project managers
Besides running executive courses in digital products & digital project management, Daniel was consultant to many companies and organizations in delivering customized training. Some key customers include Citibank, Ministry for Home Affairs, Singapore Changi Hospital, Central Provident Fund Board, United Overseas Bank, OCBC Bank, Atos Origin, TetraPak, Sony, Yokogawa Engineering, Singapore Computer Systems, HP, Integrated Health Information Systems, GeTech Automation, Banking Computer Services and IMDA. These trainings were delivered in Singapore, China, Brunei, Malaysia, Thailand and Maldives.
Daniel has over 29 years of experience in product management, development, testing, quality and project management. He started his career in product development of IBM software products. When his company invested to build new products, he became a product manager and formed his own team to conceptualize, develop, and launch a product in Comdex show in Las Vegas and Singapore. He later became a project manager, managing IBM’s customer projects. Prior to joining ISS, he was the Director of Operations, holding the resource, quality and project management office, at an IBM subsidiary. He has also held various management positions as department head of e-Business, project management, operations and process quality.
