This is a 3-days course which offers organisations the process and tools of Service Design. Service Design is the application of design thinking principles in the creation and orchestration of product/service experiences.

Digital technology fundamentally changes the relationship any organisation has with its customers. To remain relevant to customers and be competitive in the digital age, organisations must expand their role in their customers’ journeys and deliver the outcomes that customers desire. It extends beyond standalone products to the holistic end-to-end service experience.

This course helps to:
  • Create new sources of value for customers by identifying unmet customer needs
  • Enable cross-collaboration across business functions to execute a differentiated experience for the customers
  • Align business functions and technology investments around customer outcomes to harness value for the organisation
  • Key Takeaways

At the end of this 3-day course, participants will be able to:

  • Apply the principles of Design Thinking to create services / experiences
  • Conduct user research to discover unmet needs and opportunities
  • Synthesise research data for customer or user insights
  • Illustrate the value proposition of a service innovation concept and the intended outcome for the customer
  • Employ tools such as personas, customer journey mapping, service blueprinting, and story-telling to realise service innovation across business functions
  • Build low-fidelity prototypes of the proposed concept for evaluation
  • Adapt the solution through customer and user feedback, and rapidly iterate the solution
