In a world increasingly shaped by digital technologies, governance must evolve. Digital Governance explores how organisations and institutions design frameworks, strategies, and structures to ensure accountability, transparency, security, and ethical behaviour while also remain agile in the digital era.
This course equips learners with the skills and critical thinking needed to design and lead governance initiatives across sectors. Through a blend of foundational concepts, practical models, case studies, and group discussions, learners will critically examine key themes such as data governance, cybersecurity oversight, AI ethics, risk management, and Board engagement amongst other pertinent topics.
The course lays a strong foundation for learners to not only understand the complexities of digital governance but also to actively shape and drive governance strategies within organisations and across broader digital ecosystems.
Whether preparing for leadership roles in corporations, government, startups, or NGOs, this course empowers learners to become confident stewards of digital responsibility, enabling sustainable digital transformation in an increasingly unpredictable world.
This course spans approximately 7 weeks and requires a total commitment of 12 learning days, with a balanced blend of ~50% synchronous in-person sessions and ~50% asynchronous self-paced learning (including pre-readings, research, individual & group assignments, etc).
This course is part of the Master of Technology in Digital Leadership Programme offered by NUS-ISS.
Application should be submitted at least 1 month before the start of each class.
