Before you start: a quick checklist for Self-Sponsored Learner

Know the course name

Create the L3AP account. Sign-in and check that profile details are up-to-date

✓

Prepare qualification / supporting documents if the course requires them

✓

Use Myinfo where applicable for funding eligibility

✓

Check course dates, fees, entry requirements and application status

✓

After submitting, watch your Dashboard / Application page for an offer

✓

Complete acceptance and payment by the stated deadlines

The registration journey

For a self-sponsored learner, the standard learner registration journey is:

Find a course

Choose an intake

Complete application

Submit

Receive / accept offer

Make payment

Enrolled

Important: “Register interest” (heart icon) saves a course / signals interest. It is not the same as applying. To register for an intake, open the course and click Apply.

1. Search for the course you want

Type the course name / code

Use Filters if needed

Look for “Open for application”

Click the course card to see details and available intakes.

2. Open the course and choose the intake

STEP 2

Before clicking Apply

• Check the intake / course dates

• Check fees and funding information

• Check entry requirements

• Confirm the intake is open for application

For short courses: click Apply under the intake you want. This opens the application form.

Do not stop at “Register interest” if you intend to enrol.

The exact sections vary by course. You may be asked for qualifications, employment information, supporting documents, entry-requirement checks and declarations.

For SSG funding eligibility, the guide states that information should be retrieved from Myinfo where applicable.

Use Save and next to move through the form.

View and check all relevant information of your application.

• Course / intake selected

• Qualifications and documents

• Declarations completed

• Funding-related information

After submission, the information in the submitted steps cannot be edited. Confirm only when you are ready.

If the course is a pay-upon-application course, you may see “Confirm and pay” instead of a simple Submit.

6. Accept your offer

STEP 6

Accepting the offer

1. Click on Application tab

2. Click Accept offer

3. Check course modules and any supplementary fees

4. Click Accept Offer

5. Click Pay

Offers have an acceptance deadline. Take action before it passes.

7. Make payment to confirm enrolment

STEP 7

How do I know I am enrolled?

After the required acceptance / payment steps are completed, use My course and Application / Transaction records to check your course information and payment details.
